“Ok.. I am going to admit it,

I am tired of always being axious about when the world is going to end.

The joy of Christ’s return has devolved into a haven for pessimists,

giving religious legitimacy to indulge in unbridled negativity.

How about we allow ourselves to be happy?

What if we focused on solutions and successes as a society?

Even if the whole world chooses to be horrible,

it does not mean that we need to be like them.”

Read the book I told you about!! “Heaven Misplaced” by Doug Wilson. Even if you don’t end up agreeing with him eschatalogically, it’s about living life (regarding the future) full of hope and joy. As Martin Luther said once, “Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”
