Balance
After you plummet the depths of isms and ology’s, with the exception of wisdom, knowledge all starts to sound alike. In this, I have come to realize, words really are not the point, for life is found in the living.
When words are elevated above actual relationships, through, for example, making sure everything I believe is “correct”, it becomes an expression of control rather than of enlightenment.
And so I now embrace the supremacy of my living relationships above the supposed perfection of words I adhere to. And in doing so, I find the Spirit back in my life again. The emptiness I once sought to fill with words is replaced by the simple joys of living.
